Bio
Jeronimo Galecki is 25 years old, born in Colombia and based in Vienna, Austria. Since his childhood he learned to play piano, saxophone, drums, violin and has been part of different choirs throughout his life starting with the Vienna Boys Choir, the choirs of the Vienna Choir School and the 'Neue Wiener Stimmen'. Later on he discovered his passion for film and composition and his first experience as a film composer was for an Austrian film that went on to be screened at the Diagonale film festival in Graz. Though he enjoyed filmmaking, he decided to focus on contributing to films in the best way he could, which was creating the music.
After having graduated in Theater, Film and Media studies at the University of Vienna he embarked on the Master's degree at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, in which he had the opportunity to work with three different directors for the films 'Her', 'One Last Laugh' and 'Bird and Whale'.
During his academic journey Jeronimo studied under Conrad Pope, Christopher Young, Dr. Andy Hill and has had masterclasses with James Newton Howard, Danny Elfman, David Newman, Austin Wintory and Pedro Eustache.
